  • LEGIONELLA PNEUMOPHILA IS A BACTERIA THAT CAN LEAD TO INFECTIONS AS LEGIONELLOSIS. THE SEVERITY VARIES FROM MILD FEBRILE ILLNESS (PONTIAC FEVER) TO A POTENTIALLY FATAL FORM OF PNEUMONIA CALLED LEGIONNAIRES’ DISEASE.
